We’ve shared our favorite beers & our favorite wines of 2011 this week. Now it’s time to take you through our 10 Favorite Spirits of the year! This list was especially fun to make – the spirits industry here in Michigan is getting bigger and better every day, and Audrey and I have had such a great time trying them. Here they are (in no particular order, of course):
- New Holland Artisan Spirits – Knickerbocker Gin
- Black Star Farms – Pear and Its Spirit
- Valentine Vodka
- Adult Chocolate Milk
- New Holland Artisan Spirits – Hopquila
- Grand Traverse Distillery – Wheat Vodka
- Piece of Cake Liqueurs – Chocolate Cake Liqueur
- New Holland Artisan Spirits – Zeppelin Bend Whiskey
The final one came down to a 3-way tie (it was impossible to pick between these 3 – we love them all!):
- Nut Liquor Peanut Butter Vodka (only 1/2 Michigan)
- Cream – Alcohol Infused Whipped Cream
- Black Star Farms – Spirit of Apple
