Bagger Dave’s Burger Tavern, a full-service, ultra-casual restaurant and bar, announced that all of its Michigan taverns are now offering a variety of Michigan craft beers in 64-ounce growlers for purchase.

The Bagger Dave’s growlers cost $10, and an additional $12-$15 to fill them. They may be brought back to be cleaned and refilled as often as customers like.

Growler

Beer selections include some of Michigan’s finest brews: Short’s Local Light, Mountain Town Trainwreck, Griffin Claw Norm’s Raggedy Ass, Bell’s Two Hearted Ale or Oberon, Saugatuck Starburst Wheat and the seasonal manager’s favorite, which can be range from a grapefruit IPA to a Neapolitan milk stout. The premium Vandermill Ginger Peach Cider, crafted in Spring Lake, Mich., sells for $22.

“We believe craft beer and growlers are the perfect pairing, and our customers agree,” said Bagger Dave’s CEO Michael Ansley. “Craft beer and growlers just go together.”

There is one one rule: Even though they are eager to crack open their craft beer, customers can’t drink from the growlers in the bar. They have to take them home.

Bagger Dave’s bartenders recommend that craft beer aficionados drink the contents within 24-, or possibly 48-, hours for peak quality.

About Bagger Dave’s
Founded in 2008, Bagger Dave’s Burger Tavern has taken the neighborhood bar and has literally BEEFED it up. Their chefs have created a burgerlicious prime rib recipe burger, and paired it with a seemingly endless selection of local craft beers, wines and signature cocktails to appeal to grownup tastes.

And would a standard old potato do for Bagger Dave’s friends? We think not. Only fresh cut fries, made from a proprietary potato can accompany a burger this F-I-N-E. Don’t skinny dip…enjoy one of Bagger Dave’s nine custom-made dipping sauces. Other drool-worthy grub on the menu includes a veggie black bean burger, Midwestern turkey or hormone-free chicken burgers, and hand-dipped milkshakes.

If you don’t live close to one of Bagger Dave’s 25 neighborhood or campus locations, you really should consider moving. Serious burger lovers can also order and pay from the palm of their hands with the Bagger Dave’s App, and benefit from its Fresh Rewards Loyalty Program, which is not only easy, but also saves big bucks so you can buy even more burgers and beer.
