Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the vodka, maple syrup and 3 drops of Liquid Smoke. Shake well, strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a slice of maple cured bacon.
Erin Przeniczny, who lives in Farmington Hills with her fiance, Chris, and their dog, Riley. She moved to Michigan about two years ago after meeting Chris in her former home of Arizona (he is from Westland, MI).
Erin came up with the Maple Bacon Martini because pretty much all meat-eaters love bacon, and she wanted to try to figure out a way to infuse the vodka with the bacon flavor.
